The Founder
“I wanted a place that could hold the whole picture—what we love, what we survive, and who we are becoming.”
A few years ago, I found myself living through completely different seasons at the exact same time.
I was raising four children, building big dreams, celebrating beautiful moments, and trying to remain present for the people I loved.
At the same time, I was watching my father disappear into dementia.
I was losing my best friend, Shenell, to brain cancer.
I was grieving people who were still here, people I knew I was going to lose, and parts of myself I wasn’t sure I would ever get back.
Life is rarely just one thing.
We can be grateful and heartbroken.
Hopeful and overwhelmed.
Deeply in love with our lives and still struggling to carry them.
I didn’t need another productivity app telling me how to do more. I didn’t need technology to give me another generic answer.
I needed a place that could hold the whole picture—the people I loved, what I had survived, what I was building, and who I was becoming.
That is why I built LUUM.
